Introduce

The Standards and Certification Working Committee of the International Society for Chinese Language Teaching (ISCLT) was officially formed in November 2020, following approval during the Second Executive Council Meeting of ISCLT. This committee represents one of ISCLT's pioneering affiliated branches. It operates under the purview of CTI International , commonly known as CTI, and has established a dedicated secretariat. The primary mission of the Standards Working Committee is to advance the standardization of international Chinese language education. This includes conducting research and development activities related to international Chinese language education standards, building comprehensive systems, certifying capabilities, fostering international collaborations, and promoting awareness. Furthermore, the committee is actively engaged in formulating and revising group standards, facilitating their implementation and application, and evaluating their effectiveness, all with the overarching aim of promoting the internationalization of these group standards.
