The Confucius Institute at UCSC Milan Campus Holds the New HSK Test

April 17th – The new HSK test was held successfully at the Confucius Institute at UCSC Milan Campus. This was the first HSK test to be held in the school since its establishment. The new HSK was launched in 2009 after a lengthy reform and development process on the old HSK carried out by Hanban, aiming to better satisfy the demands of Chinese language learners of all ages with varying levels of Chinese proficiency all over the world. The test has been widely recognized and welcomed by examinees.

The Confucius Institute held the test in two levels. It will hold two other tests on an even larger scale in June and November 2010. It will also set up a test site on the university’s Brescia campus and organize a test on May 15th.
