The HSK Concludes at the Confucius Institute in La Rochelle

May, 15th, 2010 –The New HSK concluded with great success at the Confucius Institute in La Rochelle . It was the first HSK to be held at the institute after the signing of an agreement with the Chinese Testing International Center. The HSK consisted of four levels, and 64 examinees sat for the tests, amongst them 33 examinees sat for HSK Level 1, 21 for Level 2, 7 for Level 3, and 3 for Level 4. Most examinees were from the Confucius Institute in La Rochelle, the Chinese Department of the University of La Rochelle and high school students. 

Before the test, the institute teachers held training sessions on May 10th and 11th with the aim of aiding examinees to understand patterns of the HSK, as well as to be familiar with the paper and exam room. Chinese and French teachers from the University of La Rochelle, together with the institute teachers and volunteers, achieved thorough success through their hard work.
